4: commitment (how to change your life in 7-10 hours/week)
most people think commitment follows confidence.
tell me if this pattern sounds familiar:
once you meet the dream girl, then you'll commit.
once the business takes off, then you'll quit the day job.
once the creative project gets validation, only then you'll go all in.
but that never works.
you wait and you wait... and the day never comes.
because that inner confidence you're looking for?
it doesn't exist.
dan sullivan said it best:
"nothing happens until after you commit, and it’s only after you commit that you know what freedom feels like."
you must light a fire under your ass.

100 days ago i signed a contract with myself to complete 3 pages of longhand, stream-of-consciousness writing every day for 12 weeks.
plus weekly reading, artist time, and creative exercises.
julia cameron's "artist's way" practice.
within a few weeks, i quit my job.
soon after, i committed to doing 75 hard with my friend chey.
then a marathon.
(the longest i'd run before last month was 3 miles)
not long after that, i spent $7k on online courses to level up.
with no income, mind you, and no backup plan.
since then, i've written over 70k words, ran up a $20k+ month with a new business, and am in the best shape of my life.
i still have a long ways to go, but the past 3 months have felt like 3 years.
all because i made a promise to myself.
...don't believe me?
try it.
