7: you don't need a better idea
most people think they need the perfect idea to start a company.
they wait for the day their magnum opus comes to them in a dream.
but it never comes.
because every successful entrepreneur and creative knows the harsher, more boring truth:
inspiration only strikes those ready to receive it.
it's more important to show up everyday than to be perfect.
because ideas come and go.
but doing the boring work is what prepares you for those big moments.
they say luck is when preparation meets opportunity.
there's not much you can do to change opportunity.
meaning luck IS preparation.
take one small daily action instead of indulging in the big questions.
as julia cameron says:
"fill the form."
